Kip Barrier

VP of Operations

Kip spent 17 years in the finance business in different management capacities, while personally buying and remodeling houses. He transitioned in 2013 to full time construction and roofing, managing a large residential roofing company in Jackson, MS for 5 years. Kip came to GSCS in 2018 as project manager of disaster relief projects in Texas, North Carolina, and South Carolina, moving to Tallahassee in February 2019 to manage operations in Florida.

As VP of Operations, Kip brings a wealth of project management, audit, and compliance experience to the table. Kip understand the complexities of navigating the requirements of federal funded programs. The paperwork, federal laws, building codes, and environmental and historic responsibilities. The demanding requirements of federal program requirements coupled with the understanding project deadlines have made Kip invaluable to the TLW team for completing on required timelines and in compliance with program requirements. But most importantly, Kip has the ability to recognize and meet the needs of our clients with his consistency, honesty, and reliability. 

Some things you might not know about Kip, he’s a wonderful singer and he can make a mean peach cobbler!
